What we use and why
We use your email address to create and secure your vibe reveal library, to confirm payment, and to send requested sign-in links. We receive derived counts, partially masked participant names, selected words and phrases, and dates to create and store the private vibe reveal. The free first-50 preview sends only the measurements used for scoring, top emoji and temporary participant numbers; it does not send participant names, name-derived IDs, selected words/phrases or calendar dates. Preview content is not saved. Network metadata and short-lived rate-limit records are processed for security. The browser replaces some letters in participant names with asterisks before sending them. At least two original letters remain visible in shorter names and three in longer names, so a masked label may still identify someone. The service has no minimum-age restriction, and we do not ask for your birth date. All users receive the same privacy defaults. We use these details to create and deliver your requested reveal. Other chat participants can also contact us with privacy concerns or rights requests. Our payment provider processes payment information under its own privacy notice; we do not receive card details.
Device storage
Your selected export is held temporarily in this browser only while you complete checkout. It is removed after successful saving or a cancelled checkout. An abandoned checkout copy may remain until you return and expiry is checked, or clear this site’s browser data. We also save your chosen theme and cache pricing for up to four hours. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits without cookies; it may process page URLs, browser details and network metadata to provide aggregate site statistics. VibeCheckMe does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Retention and sharing
We retain your email and private vibe reveal until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to provide the service. We use trusted service providers for cloud hosting, storage, email delivery, and payment processing. We do not store your card details, sell your personal data, or use your chat to train AI.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to complain to your data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Contact us to exercise a right, ask a privacy question or make a data protection complaint. Email [email protected]; we acknowledge complaints within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed and explain the outcome.

Who can use the service
VibeCheckMe does not impose a minimum age or collect your birth date. Everyone receives the same privacy defaults. Only make a purchase if you are legally able to do so and have permission to use the payment method; ask a parent or guardian for help where needed. These statements do not replace protections or rights required by applicable law.
The service
VibeCheckMe creates one private vibe reveal from one WhatsApp text export. The raw export is read in your browser and is not uploaded to VibeCheckMe. Derived measurements and selected display details are sent to our server to create the reveal, which is saved privately to the email-addressed library. Reveals describe chat patterns for entertainment; they are not a judgment of anyone’s character, mental health or relationship.
Price and payment
Each vibe reveal is a one-time purchase. The final tax-inclusive amount is shown in secure checkout before you pay. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Our payment provider handles payment processing; VibeCheckMe does not store card details.
Your responsibilities
You must be entitled to use the export you select and must not use the service unlawfully. Chats can include other people’s personal information; please consider their privacy before creating and sharing a vibe reveal. Do not use a reveal to bully, harass, threaten, expose private information or otherwise harm someone. Do not upload content that infringes another person’s rights or breaches applicable law.
Delivery, cancellation and support
After payment is confirmed, the browser sends derived measurements to our server. The server creates the vibe reveal and makes it available through your private library. Supply begins when your finished digital reveal is made available in your private vault. You can cancel before digital supply begins by emailing [email protected]. If you request immediate supply and acknowledge the loss of your cooling-off right, that right ends when supply begins. This does not affect rights for faulty or undelivered content, refunds required by law, or other consumer rights that cannot be excluded. If you need to cancel, request a refund, or need help accessing a vibe reveal, contact [email protected]. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Privacy and misuse reports
The browser masks participant names from the export before sending them; each masked label retains at least two visible letters for shorter names and three for longer names, so it may still identify someone. Keep results private unless sharing is appropriate. You can report misuse or request access, correction or deletion at [email protected], even if you do not have an account. Include the reveal reference or page URL if available and a short explanation; do not send the raw chat or unnecessary identity documents. We investigate reports and may disable hosted share links or restrict sharing where appropriate. Shared images can be kept or forwarded. Screenshots or copies saved elsewhere cannot be recalled by VibeCheckMe.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version confirmed in your purchase email applies to that purchase. For questions about these terms, contact [email protected].
Email us for privacy help, access, correction or deletion, including information about you in someone else’s reveal. We may ask for proportionate information to identify the data and verify the request. You do not need a VibeCheckMe account to raise a privacy concern.
